Premium Voice possible soon on all short dial numbers

In the future, not only the familiar ‘22’ numbers but almost all five-digit short dial numbers will be able to be used for voice telephony services; of course, a Premium Voice upgrade for existing short dial numbers is also possible. In addition, Premium Video services can be easily rendered through this.

An attractive offer for all companies who are looking for innovative, cross-media marketing channels: With voice-capable short dial, multi-channel services can be set up more simply and quickly than before with a pleasant “side effect”: Experiences in the area of ‘22’ short dial show that significant extra revenue can be achieved through it for typical SMS services (for example, chats).

T-Mobile, E-Plus and o2 already support Premium Voice in the current prefix ranges. At the end of the year, Vodafone will enable it for prepaid customers and in the 2nd quarter of 2009, for postpaid customers. Vodafone is also increasing the economic attractiveness of Premium Voice short dial through a clear improvement in conditions. Set-up and operating fees will be reduced considerably, while compensation will be significantly improved.
