Fox Mobile and mobileview launch chat down under
5 contents, 35 countries and 25 languages: as the leading provider of innovative mobile contents, the Berlin-based company Jamba!, since October 08 officially renamed Fox Mobile, supplies mobile phone users worldwide with music, games, videos and more direct to their phones. Fox Mobile will soon also be offering chat services in Australia – with the aid of mobileview.
Besides a diverse line-up of mobile entertainment, Fox Mobile’s product range in the Pacific region will now be enhanced by chat services – with the fifth continent as a test market.
The merlix platform, the mobile application server developed by mobileview, offered the ideal solution for this project. The platform’s enormous flexibility, its comprehensive client capability and integrated multilingualism mean that merlix is ideally suited for international use – which convinced the decision-makers at Fox Mobile.
So now the fifth continent, where service begins in the first quarter of 2009, may now represent the start of something new: if Fox Mobile chat is a success in Australia, services will be extended further in the Asia-Pacific region.
