Dirk Ebert new director sales
Mainz, January 18th, 2010. Service telephony specialist dtms puts its sales organisation in the capable hands of Dirk Ebert.
The start of the new year sees Dirk Ebert (43) take on the top sales job at dtms to lead the four sales units of the Mainz-based company, with the sales managers for business customers and sales acqusition, indirect sales and media & entertainment reporting directly to him. In addition, he will also be in charge of coordinating the internationally oriented sales units of dtms’ sister company mobileview. Dirk Ebert will continue to coordinate Business Development, his previous area of responsibility, and develop it further.
Dirk Ebert has been with the company for more than 10 years, initially as head of operations and customer service, and then in leading positions in consulting and sales.
As manager for Business Development, Dirk Ebert had made decisive contributions in identifying and executing strategic projects. Under his leadership, dtms became an industry partner for D115, the nationwide local authority phone number. A further milestone in his work in Business Development was the collaboration with the broadband operator Versatel.
Ebert will continue to report to Dr. Christian Kühl, spokesman of the board of dtms, who comments: “Dirk Ebert’s task will be the sustainable development of dtms’ successful sales structures via direct sales and sales partnerships, with the aim of transforming dtms competence and performance into customer advantages and thus strengthening the company’s position in the market.”
As Dirk Ebert says: “The merging of Sales and Business Development guarantees an excellent starting position for dtms in a market that is going through enormous changes. The idea of integrating strategy and expert solutions is an extremely attractive challenge.”
